Mac & Cheese and other Healthy options!!

So for all you mom's out there, I have a little secret when you make Mac & Cheese...
Instead of adding milk and butter to your cheese packet, add a jar of baby food (like carrots, wintersquash, sweet potato)... Mix and SERVE!!
Start young and your kids will never know!!! ha ha
Also, one of the girls' favorite things to eat is "Green Spaghetti"
I add as many veggies as I can (broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, spinach, cauliflower etc) into a little pot with a teeny bit of water on the bottom. Add tons of spinach - it makes it nice and green. Add some garlic and salt. Steam it. Add a spoon of sour cream (and/or hummus too).
I blend it all together and pour it over pasta.
It's such an easy way to get them to eat all those veggies!

For "Green Spaghetti" we pick a fun place in the house to eat it - like the basement, or we make a tent and eat under the kitchen table. I'm not even kidding.
Since Jeremy is gone for dinner a lot, the three of us fit under there perfectly. Could you imagine him under the kitchen table. LOL!!!
